What is Clear Eyes CLR?
There are many brands and forms of ocular lubricant available and not all are listed on this leaflet.
Clear Eyes CLR is used in adults to relieve burning, irritation, and discomfort caused by dry eyes.
Clear Eyes CLR may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Clear Eyes CLR side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using Clear Eyes CLR and call your doctor if you have:

severe burning, stinging, or eye irritation after using the medicine;

eye pain; or
-
vision changes.
Common side effects of Clear Eyes CLR may include:

mild eye burning or irritation;

itching or redness of your eyes;
-
watery eyes;
-
blurred vision; or
-
sensitivity to light.

Before taking this medicine
You should not use an Clear Eyes CLR if you are allergic to it. This medicine will not treat or prevent an eye infection.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use Clear Eyes CLR if you have any type of infection in your eye.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How should I use Clear Eyes CLR?
Follow all directions on your prescription label and read all medication guides or instruction sheets. Use the medicine exactly as directed.
Wash your hands before using Clear Eyes CLR.
Do not use Clear Eyes CLR and call your pharmacist if the medicine looks cloudy or has changed color.
Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated tip can infect your eye, which could lead to serious vision problems.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse while using Clear Eyes CLR.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Clear Eyes CLR is used when needed. If you are on a dosing schedule, skip any missed dose. Do not use two doses at one time.
What happens if I overdose?
An overdose of ocular lubricant is not expected to be dangerous. Seek emergency medical attention or call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.
What should I avoid while using Clear Eyes CLR?
Clear Eyes CLR may cause blurred vision. Avoid driving or hazardous activity until you know how this medicine will affect you.
Do not use other eye medications unless your doctor tells you to.
What other drugs will affect Clear Eyes CLR?
Medicine used in the eyes is not likely to be affected by other drugs you use. But many drugs can interact. Tell your doctor about all your current medicines, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
